Ella.jpg

Ella Millett qualified as a Solicitor in 2007 and has specialised in private client work since 2005. She worked in a variety of Nottinghamshire law firms at a high level before establishing her own practice in 2018 with a laptop on her dining room table and when her baby daughter Francesca at the time was not even 1 year of age (crazy lady)! Ella's family and friends were not shocked when she set up her own boutique law firm- as she had always been entrepreneurial from a young age and from a family of business owners (not very good at working for other people).

Ella enjoys meeting and looking after her clients to give them the best possible advice and to make the client experience as enjoyable as possible whilst achieving their legal requirements in an efficient and holistic manner. Ella believes that legal services can be delivered in a kinder and better way, and she firmly believes that the small boutique law firm has its place in the modern legal landscape and that 'people deal best with people' when it comes to Private Client Legal services.

Outside of work - Ella enjoys spending time with her husband Stuart, and children Sebastian (10) and Francesca (7) who keep her very busy! The family are big Nottingham Forest fans. Ella is also a keen gardener (self confessed - plant obsessed and Monty Dom's biggest fan). To relax, Ella enjoys Yoga (which helps with her often frazzled nerves) and enjoys the occasional Gin over the weekend (has to be Hendricks with cucumber, the right amount of ice) and Tonic- but please note, not yoga and gin together, unless she is away on holiday.

Ella has a keen interest in Politics (photographed here on BBC Question Time 15th February 2024) - and she was lucky enough to have had the opportunity to ask a Question albeit it was at the end of the show.

Ella enjoys mostly spending time with her family and friends. Ella is a family person and a lot of clients have become like extended family and friends over the years she has been in practise.

Tamsyn Lees is a Associate Solicitor with the firm and qualified in 2018 and has worked at well-respected regional and national firms. Tamsyn is a full member of STEP (The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and is the highest accolade for a Private Client Solicitor.

Tamsyn is Ella's right hand woman and she runs the East Leake office which is perfectly nestled between the Bulls Head pub and the road to the Manor Farm Park and Woodlands (both worth a visit). The East Leake office is set back and just off the Main Road with parking for clients to attend the office.

Tamsyn brings to the firm a wealth of experience in acting for clients with a high net worth and is very experienced with Trust work for clients, in addition to dealing with landed estates and agricultural holdings. Tamsyn also has an interest in Digital Assets and their ever-changing treatment in the legal world.

Tamsyn is very efficient, professional and understanding with clients and is an asset to the firm.

Tamsyn's 7 year old Golden Retriever 'Monty' is also a resident member of the firm in the office at East Leake, and is much loved by staff and clients so you may be lucky enough to meet him. Outside of work, Tamsyn enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter and keeping fit with spinning classes - often doing two classes back to back!

Kelly Bradley (awaiting photo) is a Paralegal with the firm, soon to be trainee Lawyer, having previously worked as a Conveyancer and Family Assistant at a local firm where she met Ella.

Kelly has spent time out of the Legal Professional building a successful bake brand - Razzleberry which she still runs in conjunction with her work at the firm. Kelly wanted to return to the Law after 12 years out whilst her children were growing up and she wants to qualify as a 'specialist Private Client Legal Executive Lawyer' with CILEX which the firm are supporting.

Kelly brings a 50s glamour to the office and has a genuine interest in the welfare of our clients, being personable and responsible and going that extra mile for them.

Kelly supports both Ella and Tamsyn with their clients and is also steadily building her own caseload. Kelly is a welcome addition to the firm and strengthens the firms ability to deal with the clients we look after.

Kelly may even bring in homemade cake creations to the office when she has time after looking after her two children Jessica and Jack and being permanently glamourous!
